We met on January 23, 2020 just a simple lunch date at Boston Market. Who knew that casual meal would turn into this? At the time, neither of us could have imagined how quickly the world (and our lives) were about to change. Just two months later, COVID shut everything down. While Renita took quarantine and social distancing very seriously staying inside, masking up, and doing her part Leo was outside living his absolute best life, somehow finding a way to make even a pandemic feel adventurous. Despite our very different approaches to lockdown life, we laughed through it, leaned on each other, and discovered just how well we balanced one another. What started as a lunch date grew into late-night conversations, endless laughter, and a love that proved resilient even in uncertain times. Through chaos, contrast, and a whole lot of growth, we found our rhythm and realized we were building something real. Now, here we are, years later, grateful for that January day, that unexpected season, and the love that carried us through it all. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter together with you.
