When is the RSVP deadline?

Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding day is an adults-only event besides our nieces and nephews. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids regardless, so please know they are welcome at the Thursday Welcome Party.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Porto in September is lovely, with highs of 75F/24C and lows of 58F/14C.

Will there be transportation to the venue?
Answer
We will have shuttles transporting everyone to the venue and will send the schedule closer to the date.

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The dress code is semi-formal or dressy casual. And since interpreting wedding dress codes requires a degree and we're working across cultures, some thoughts below: For men: dress shirt (aka button down or "shirt") and trousers, tie optional For women: below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit. As the ceremony and cocktail hour are outside on grass, ladies are recommended to wear chunky heels or sandals!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors, but our reception will be inside.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Answer
We ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony but you are, of course, welcome to take photos throughout the rest of the day.

What are the entree options?
Answer
The menu is preset so all guests will have a starter, a fish and a meat. If you are vegetarian, please let us know when you RSVP so we can ensure you have the appropriate meal.
