For a shorter hike, try Phelps Lake, Taggart Lake, or String and Leigh Lakes. Alternatively, rent a kayak or canoe and go for a ride in String Lake or Jackson Lake. Enjoy a long hike down any of the canyons, Cascade is always a favorite. Take the shuttle across Jenny Lake for a scenic trip with little effort, finish with a short hike to Hidden Falls. Or sign up for a horseback ride at any of the nearby ranches - we liked Turpin Meadows.
