Okay, we all know the pandemic sucked. It took a lot away from people. As we pontificated on whether to even do this thing, the one factor we kept coming back to was the opportunity to have all of our family and friends from both sides of the Atlantic together in one room. We felt like if we didn't, it would be something we'd regret forever. So, we are sticking it to Covid and we hope you'll join us in our last ditch attempt to have the celebration we always dreamed of.
On May 24th, 2016 at the CBS Radford Lot in Studio City, Los Angeles, Leo went for a general meeting with Dana Tuinier, who he had worked with before when she was at Fox. Unbeknownst to him, she had called in her boss and her colleague Brett to meet this "hot British writer." After stalking his Facebook they decided to join. Leo stared at Brett for most of the meeting, they talked about work and doing karaoke. When it was over, they all exchanged business cards (very professionally). Leo later emailed them to say thanks for the meeting, to which Brett replied (not all) "wanna do that karaoke sometime?" Leo realized Brett was definitely gay (he'd been trying guess during the meeting). They never went to karaoke. Instead they went on a date. And never stopped dating. On April 14th, 2018, Leo and Brett's sister Annie tricked Brett up on to the roof deck of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where he worked for many years, and Leo popped the question.
