When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive at 3:30pm, and Welcome Drinks will be served. The ceremony begins promptly at 4pm. Please arrive no later than 3:50pm or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

What is the requested attire?

Answer

We encourage all guests to wear semi-formal attire- suits, cocktail dresses, evening dresses. Please keep in mind that there will be soft grass and cobblestone walkways, so ladies please plan your heels accordingly :)

What color will the bridesmaids be in?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be dressed in cabernet, so please avoid wearing this color.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear on your invitation. If your date could not attend the event then you will not be able to transfer your plus one to another person. We are keeping this an intimate event with our closest friends and family, and that includes you! Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Should I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is enough of a present! Should you wish to honor us with a gift, we will have a Card box and gift table at the venue. Alternatively, you may also have your cards and gifts delivered to our home.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is complimentary parking available on the castle grounds between the castle and the golf course! If the parking lot becomes full, overflow will be located in a field adjacent to the castle.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Premium Beers, Premium Wines, Top Shelf Liquor, and Assorted Sodas! We are grateful to have an open bar thanks to Mrs. Barbara Mills-DuBois!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outdoors. The Castle will be open for dancing, restrooms, and exploring, so we encourage guests to utilize the indoor grounds as well!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony- no phones or cameras. The greatest gift you could give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired photographers to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like, however please refrain from posting pictures specifically of us until we have had the chance to do so ourselves :)

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a rehearsal dinner for those in the bridal party the evening before the wedding.

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.
