“We’re getting married!”

We met through a mutual friend who was about to move to Tennessee and we both wanted to see her before she left.

Spending some much needed time in Idaho with friends, we all went on a hike down to lake pend orielle. As I was looking at a big tree with fishing lures in it, trying to stock up Leo’s tackle box, he was trying to get my attention down by the water. Sensing his annoyance with my shenanigans, I went over to cheer him up. That is when he said he was sorry for not getting me anything for Valentine’s Day (which he did get me stuff) and dropped to one knee. The rest was tearful excitement!
