Amy & Ryan

Ryan and Amy met when they were 13 and 14, in their freshman year of high school biology class. Ryan got Amy’s number from a friend for “tutoring” purposes. If you know Ryan and how smart he is, you know why that is so funny. That fall, Ryan asked Amy to homecoming (October 6th, 2013). They soon fell in love and spent many more homecomings and proms together. Ryan went off to college at the University of South Carolina while Amy went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They spent many weekends taking turns driving back and forth to make the long-distance work. After graduation, Amy moved to Charleston for graduate school and a few months later, Ryan made the move to Charleston to finally end the long distance. On October 6th, 2022, Ryan got down on one knee on the 9-year anniversary of their first date. Now, they happily live in Charleston, SC with their sweet dog Rocky.
