A walk though Boston Common and Boston Public Garden is a great way to see the first public park in the U.S. and the beginning of Beacon Hill!
Shopping, dining, and attractions, with a key highlight being the "View Boston" observation deck on the 52nd floor. In the Back Bay area easy to get to by the Green Line T. Recommend checking out Newbury Street and Copley Square (Boston Public Library) if you're by "the Pru."
Scenic views of the city and the Charles River.
Great for a Boston stroll, cool architecture and old buildings, cute doggies and sometimes cats or the occasional ferret on leash. Starts at Boston Common and runs all the way to Mass Ave. near the Prudential Center.
Scenic walk along the Charles River, views of MIT and Cambridge across the river.
Great Italian restaurants! Note - most are first come first served and don't take reservations. The North End, Boston’s Little Italy, is a maze of narrow streets with some of the city’s oldest buildings. On the self-guided Freedom Trail, tourists pass historic sites like the 1680 Paul Revere House and the Old North Church, which played a key role at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Italian restaurants, coffeehouses, pastry shops and old-school delis pack the area, especially on lively Hanover Street.
Christopher Columbus Park, the waterfront and Quincy Market. Classic tourist spot.
Castle Island has been connected to the mainland via a concrete causeway since 1928. In 1962, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts took ownership over both Fort Independence and Castle Island. Today, Castle Island is operated as a state park and remains open for year-round visitation.
Apple cider, apple cider donuts and cute fall vibes! In 1884, Irish immigrants James Alexander Wilson, W.M. Wilson, and George Reynolds ventured to Lexington. Here, they bought 16 acres of land and rented the surrounding fields to farm. The three men collaborated to grow vegetables and plants and sell them for a profit.
Leny's favorite bar. Custom cocktails, just tell the bartender what flavors you're feelin!
Casual sandwiches, pastries, espresso drinks, etc.
