When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding ceremony will take place at 6:00PM on September 20th at Island Resort Athens Riviera - Gallery, followed by cocktail hour and our reception celebration.

Which airport should we fly into?

Answer

Please fly into Athens International Airport (ATH). The airport is located approximately 25 minutes from each of the recommended hotels.

Do I need a visa to travel to Greece?

Answer

Greece is part of the Schengen Area. U.S. passport holders do not need a visa to visit Greece for short stays (up to 90 days) for tourism or wedding travel. Your passport should be valid for at least three months after your trip. The new European travel authorization system (ETIAS) is expected to launch in late 2026, but it is not anticipated to be mandatory for travel in September 2026. We recommend checking requirements again closer to your departure date in case of updates.

September is one of the most beautiful months in Athens: warm and sunny during the day with cooler, pleasant evenings.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. The wedding will take pace in an outdoor space, so you may wish to bring a light wrap or shawl for the evening.

Are children invited?

As much as we love little ones, our wedding will be an adults only celebration. We hope this gives parents the opportunity to relax and enjoy the weekend with us!

Will I be able to bring a guest?

Answer

Due to space constraints, plus ones are by invitation only. Please refer to your invitation and RSVP for the names of those invited.

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 30, 2026 using the RSVP tab on our wedding website. This helps us finalize plans for the wedding weekend!

Are there additional events around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’re hosting a welcome gathering the evening before the wedding so everyone can kick off the weekend together. Think light bites, drinks, and good company, a relaxed way to meet other guests and start the celebration. Suggested attire: cocktail attire. Details can be found under the “Schedule” tab.

When should we fly in?

Answer

To fully enjoy all wedding events, we recommend arriving by Friday, September 18th. Our first pre-wedding gathering will be on Saturday evening, September 19th.

How will we get around Athens?

Answer

Athens is very walkable in central areas. Taxis, ride-hailing apps, and public transportation are widely available. For the wedding event, transportation will be provided and details will be shared in advance.
