FAQs

Question

Ok, but what does your dress code actually mean?

Answer

Semi-formal We’d love to see you in all your finery, but no need for a tux or ball gown. Jackets and slacks or suits for our male-presenting folks (ties optional), and suits, cocktail dresses/jumpsuits, pants for our female-presenting folks.

Question

How do I get to Stowe?

Answer

The world is your oyster and we don’t want to create undue limitations. You can walk, drive, bike, parasail, or fly. However, for your ease and comfort, we’d recommend flying into Burlington International Airport and renting a car or taking a shuttle to Stowe (approximately 45 minutes by car from the airport).

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love you and we love your kids, but we ask that if you do bring your littles with you this weekend that you leave them with a trusted sitter during our wedding ceremony/reception/after party. Your littles are welcome at the Night Before event. (Please let us know if you plan on including them so we can add them to our head count.)

Question

Your morning after is on top of a mountain, how do I get up there?

Answer

So many options friends. You can hike, bike, or take the gondola. We will be providing gondola tickets.

Question

What about the dress code for the rest of the weekend?

Answer

Casual and comfortable. You’re coming to a mountain town in Vermont in the fall. Bring layers, bring comfortable clothes, bring clothes to be active in! Bolo ties, flannels, and overalls are recommended and encouraged.
