For Anand Karaj, attending a Gurudwara (Sikh temple) and participating in Anand Karaj (Sikh wedding ceremony) comes with certain cultural and religious norms regarding attire. Here are some general guidelines: Attire: Many Sikhs prefer to wear traditional Punjabi attire. However, respectful and modest Western attire is also acceptable. For example, many men wear Western suits, and women nice dresses (ankle-length and covered back and shoulders). Modesty: Both men and women are expected to dress modestly. This means avoiding clothing that is too revealing or ostentatious. Head Covering (for both men and women): In Sikh culture, covering the head is a sign of respect. Men often wear a turban, while women may wear a scarf. You can wear a bandana or a scarf, but no caps or hoods. If you don't have one, don't worry—Sikh temples have such head coverings available for free. For the wedding reception, any elegant formal attire. Just get ready to dance the night away!
Of course, they're all part of the family!
