Opstal Estate and Restaurant in Rawsonville
Please arrive at 3:30 PM to ensure you have enough time to park and find your seat. The ceremony will start at 4 PM and the reception thereafter at the same venue.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies please refrain from wearing white or ivory. If shopping for heels on Pashion footwear, grab a discount using my code: Lenie
Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but we are hoping for a nice spring day. Keep an eye on the weather forecast in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and have your umbrella ready just incase
After the ceremony, our immediate family will be taking pictures on the for around an hour. Guests can move over to the reception area (on the same premises) where snacks and drinks will be flowing.
There are many options available in the Rawsonville area. We recommend - Picardi Place - Monta Rosa - Slanghoek Resort - Goudini Spa (for those of you with ATKV memberships)
Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all and we are lucky to have all that we need. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we would appreciate envelope contributions toward our honeymoon fund, or something small and easy to take with us back to Australia (gift vouchers for online stores etc)
A cashbar will be available
We kindly request that guests refrain from using electronic devices during the ceremony to keep the atmosphere intimate. But feel free to capture moments during the rest of the day.
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #livelaughLOUW so we can see them, too!
