Yes! But we didn't get to celebrate with you all the first time around. We want to do a brief ceremony (maybe even let Jim write his own vows this time) and celebrate one year of marriage, being reunited with friends, and socialize with a few people who have been with and helped us along this journey.
Anything you like! We want this to be low key and fun. Think "garden party" or backyard BBQ. We (the bride and groom) will be dressed to impress, but guests are free to wear anything that makes them happy. Whether that means you show up in a maxi dress and wedges, shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, barefoot, in black tie, or a dinosaur costume we are here for it! Ladies - one stipulation, please no stiletto heels (if you even still have any after 2 years of social distancing) as the event is outdoors, and the house has fairly new hardwood flooring.
We urge you to consider getting a babysitter for your young ones. Although we love all of your children we hope you will see this as an opportunity to have a little bit of adult time/a date night. The property has water access/a pier with no guardrails or fencing.
Rocky (we hope), Riley, and Ajax will be present. Turtle will be around. The neighbors dog occasionally swings by for a visit. Bunny was dis-invited due to her egregious behavior at our engagement photos. Please do not feed them human food, no matter how adorable they are when they ask.
As they say, presence over presents. PLEASE do NOT feel obligated to bring/send a gift. Our lives are overflowing with love (and household items) already.
