Logan and I met in Polaradise. Yep, you read that right. Our place of employment, Polaris, is where the sparks started flying. He saw me at the printer, I smiled...and the rest is history. After keeping Logan in the friend zone for the better part of a year, I finally saw the light. I woke up, smelled the metaphorical coffee, and fell in love with the best human on the planet.
One of our favorite places in the world is the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. We love spending our weekend days walking the grounds and watching the seasons change. On one of our outings, we discovered a statue in the sculpture garden that I had an interesting connection to. It was a towering, limestone harp that was sculpted in 1993. It just so happens that I was born in 1993 AND I play the harp. #symbolic. When we visited the Arboretum in June, Logan suggested that we stop by the harp again. It’s there that he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. I nodded vigorously and squeaked out the most meaningful “Yes!” of my life.
