This is a Ketchum institution! aka The Pio. Home to the best Idaho potato. We recommend ordering the Jim Spud. They don't take reservations so get there early or put your name in and head to Sun Valley Wine Bar, Cellar Bar, or Warfield while you wait.

A piece of Ketchum history. The Casino was established in 1936. While you cannot gamble here, you can definitely enjoy the strongest drinks in town!

There are some great hikes in the area. Pioneer Cabin, Proctor Mountain, Baker Lake, Adams Gulch, White Clouds, and more!
Great Mountain Biking trails as well! Plenty of rides from in town or up towards Galena Lodge for more.
The Wood River Trail is a 20+ mile paved path through Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum, and Sun Valley. We highly recommend renting an bike (e-bikes are also available!) to venture around town and explore. You can rent bikes from Sturtevants (on Main Street)!
If you're looking for an active (hiking) or leisurely (gondola) day, this is a great option with beautiful views of Sun Valley.
There are a few good golf courses in Sun Valley including Sun Valley Golf Club, Elkhorn Golf Club, and Bigwood Golf Club.

Fly fishing is a popular summer activity in Idaho - there are a number of places that offer fly fishing guides including Lost River Outfitters.
We recommend driving to this location from town. While there are a number of hot springs in the Sun Valley area, this one is easy to get to and beautiful. Just head towards Warm Springs and keep on driving. Eventually you will see a sign for Frenchman's!
If you want to go on a day adventure, check out Stanley, Idaho. It is an incredibly small town, but the drive is gorgeous. Along the way, you can stop at Galena Lodge for a bloody mary, Red Fish lake for some cold but stunning lake activities, and wind up in Stanley where there is a great bakery, lots of hot springs, and even white water rafting.
An international array of musicians is slated to perform at the 10th annual Sawtooth Valley Gathering from June 19-22 in Stanley. The outdoor mountain music festival will feature four days and nights of music, offering camping to festival pass holders in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The festival is known for its variety of musical genres, including Americana, bluegrass, country, rock ānā roll, folk, funk, soul and electronica.

You need a car to get to Craters of the Moon from Ketchum. The 750k acre volcanic lava field will make you feel like you're visiting another planet.
