Question

Do I need a passport to travel to St. Croix?

Answer

No. A passport is not needed in order to visit St. Croix as the American Virgin Islands are a US Territory.

Question

What are the COVID testing requirements in order to travel to St. Croix?

Answer

Currently there are no COVID testing requirements if you are fully vaccinated. However, please visit the link on the Travel tab for the most up to date COVID testing requirements & travel protocols for entry into the USVI. www.usviupdate.com

Where will the ceremony & reception be held?

Answer

Our ceremony & reception will not be held at a resort or hotel. Guests will be responsible for their own ground transportation to & from ceremony location.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We do recommend guests book accommodations in the town of Christiansted at the suggested hotel, Tamarind Reef Resort. There are however other resort properties nearby. The town of Fredriksted is a 30-45 min drive away from where the ceremony will be held in the East End area of Christiansted.

Is Tamarind Reef Resort an All-Inclusive property?

Answer

No, Tamarind Reef Resort is not an All-Inclusive property. There is, however an All-Inclusive resort option on the island “Divi Carina Bay Resort”. This resort is located in Christiansted.

Am I required to stay at the suggested hotel?

Answer

No. You may find alternate accommodations on the island if not staying at Tamarind Reef Resort.

Is there an airport shuttle?

Answer

No, there is not a dedicated airport shuttle to and from the property. You will need to take a taxi or rental car to the property. Posted taxi rates have been provided on the “Travel” tab. There are also, what locals call “Taxi-Buses” that ferry passengers throughout the island. In general rates average $2-2.50 per ride on a taxi-bus.

When should I plan to arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by Thursday 2/2/23 if you are attending the ceremony on Friday. You are welcome to stay as long as you would like in America’s Paradise.

Is the suggested hotel located near home where ceremony & reception will be held?

Answer

Yes. The suggested hotel is located on the east end about 15 minutes away.

Are there any planned events for Saturday 2/4/23?

Answer

There are no planned events for Saturday. This day is a free day that can be used to explore the island, sightsee, purchase souvenirs, embark on a beach adventure to Buck Island, parasail in the harbor or just relax by the pool with a refreshing Cruzan Rum Punch.

Will there be a stateside reception if I am unable to travel?

Answer

Yes! We will host a stateside return reception in Virginia Beach for friends and family that were unable to travel. Guests who did travel are welcomed to attend as well.

Why can’t I access the RSVP link?

Answer

As of 9/30/22 the RSVP link has been disabled so that final headcount can be determined. Please contact LeMonte or Tina if there are any concerns.
