Roarin’ good times ahead...

Needless to say, it went well as the new friends sipped 805 beer on the oceanfront deck of the UCSB Men's Swim Team house, and the sun set on their unknowingly perfect new beginning. Their new friendship grew, and with the new year brought an unforgettable milestone. On January 4th, 2015 Chase surprised Megan with a boat ride to Santa Cruz Island, where they spent the day hiking and picnicking together atop an oceanside cliff, simply enjoying the island's remote beauty & each other's company. It was here that Chase took the first leap that began the couple's relationship, officially asking Megan if he could call her his girlfriend. A few years & many cherished memories later, Chase surprised Megan again by chartering a private flight to Santa Rosa Island in February 2019. This time, he got down on one knee in the sands of the beach to ask Megan to spend the rest of their lives together. The newly engaged couple spent the rest of the day on the island with a romantically familiar style-nod to their past. One last surprise awaited in Goleta as both of their families gathered to be the first to give cheers & shed joyous tears to another new beginning. Here on this day, January 4th, 2020, Chase & Megan will be celebrating exactly 5 years of pure love and commitment as they make their wedding vows to each other. Upon walking hand-in-hand out the doors of the Mission as Mr. & Mrs. Lemley, Chase & Meg's first breath of fresh air will overlook the silhouette of the Channel Islands, with all of its glory of their past, present, and future! After a weekend of celestial celebrations honoring Chase & Megan Lemley's wedding in the presence of the most cherished beings in their lives, the newlyweds will carry on their journey together as they spend a few relaxing days visiting Catalina Island. This "mini-moon" will symbolize the beginning of yet another adventure for the two together as husband & wife, bringing their story full-circle to become one new family.
