Emily and Jacob met on Friday November 23rd 2018. While on the phone the previous day, Taylor Durst suggested to Emily that she meet a guy Daniel Durst worked with at Hobby Lobby. Both Emily and Jacob were skeptical to be set up on a blind date. However, both agreed and met Taylor and Daniel at the local mall. While shopping and eating dinner Emily and Jacob didn't really talk much because they were both nervous. But Jacob built up enough courage to ask for Emily's number and the two started going out on more dates. Eventually they became a couple and the rest is history.
