This is a special occasion, and we encourage you to embrace the joy of dressing up and having fun with your outfit! That said, formal attire is highly encouraged to celebrate but not required. If you don’t own formal wear, please don’t feel the need to purchase something new, simply wear what you have and try your best. We kindly ask that guests avoid very casual clothing (such as plain t-shirts, sweats or sweatshirts, etc.), as this is a meaningful celebration worth dressing up for. For ladies, long or tea-length dresses in elegant silhouettes are always a great choice. Fabrics such as silk, satin, crepe, chiffon, or tulle, along with vintage-inspired details like lace, gentle draping, or subtle beading, are beautiful FUN choices. For gentlemen, dark or neutral suits or tuxedos are perfect and always appropriate, have fun with it. We kindly request that guests avoid wearing white, cream, red, burgundy, or wine tones if possible, as these colors are for the bride and wedding party to shine in. Our ceremony will be held outdoors, so we recommend comfortable shoes suitable for grass and breathable fabrics. Early May in St. Augustine brings warm days and mild evenings, so a light layer may be helpful as the night goes on.
