The Museum District is Houston’s cultural heart, with the association of 19 museums, galleries, cultural centers and community organizations that is dedicated to promoting art, science, history and culture. Plenty of museums within walking distance! We went to the Cockrell Butterfly Center on our 3rd date! Beautiful butterflies and plants! We also went to Burke Baker Planetarium, located in the Houston Museum of Natural Science to see the Dark Side of the Moon.
