New Milford Town Green

If you liked Gilmore Girls, this is for you. Really cute classic New England town green with a gazebo and an old main street (Bank Street) complete with a coffee shop, restaurants, ice cream, and a few independent boutiques. Rebecca's family has watched 4th of July fireworks from here in years past, and Luke and Rebecca like stopping for coffee at River and Rail Cafe after a hike!

Steep Rock Preserve

2 Tunnel Road, Washington, CT 06794

Steep Rock is the Lellis's favorite place to hike, and we brought Luke here his first time to CT back in 2020. The preserve includes a flat trail along the river, an old railroad tunnel, a cable bridge across the river, and a beautiful view if you make it to the top!

Kent Falls State Park

Beautiful park with several cascading waterfalls. Includes a lot of steps!

Litchfield Town Green

Another very cute CT town center. Includes a local market, bakery, coffee. The surrounding homes are gorgeous old colonials. We would definitely recommend a scenic drive around town!
