How do I RSVP?

Answer

When you receive your wedding invitation, it will include the link and QR code to our wedding website where you will be able to RSVP. Our RSVP deadline is March 20th. We appreciate your timely RSVP as that help us (and our wedding coordinator) finalize details for the wedding.

Question

I'm coming in from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a couple of hotel blocks located in Schertz, TX (20 min from the wedding venue). Details for the hotel blocks are on the "Travel" page. Guests may reserve and purchase hotel rooms on their own. There are two hotels to pick from and their reservation deadlines are March 16th or March 27th.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry is available on our wedding website. We are using Zola to manage our registry. We have some items registered through Zola's storefront. We're also registered at Target and Crate & Barrell - both of these registries are linked on our Zola registry to keep everything in one place.

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to dress up for the occasion, but keep it relaxed and comfortable - think Sunday best, not black tie.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in an open air chapel. The venue grounds resembles a biergarten, so we intend to enjoy our reception outdoors (weather pending).

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We adore your children, but we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults‑only event, with a small number of exceptions for family. We hope you enjoy a fun night off and thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm. We suggest arriving no later than 5:15pm to ensure you have time to park and find your seat.

Where is the ceremony/reception located?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception site is located at The Fields Wedding & Event Venue at 832 Arizpe Road, Cibolo, Texas.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is a large, gravel parking lot next to the venue.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will be in an open-air chapel that has a roof. The reception will be moved inside to the indoor reception hall.

Is the ceremony/reception site wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony site and reception site is wheelchair accessible. Most of the venue grounds is gravel, concrete or AstroTurf. The indoor reception hall is wheelchair accessible. There are a few elevated spaces around the outdoor dancefloor, but nothing that would prohibit anyone from fully being able to engage in the evening's festivities. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are not handicap accessible.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invitation specified a plus one, we ask that you do not bring one so we can maintain our anticipated headcount.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We've hired a photographer that we are very excited about and are entrusting them to capture our day. They will be taking pictures of our family and friends during the ceremony, so please don't be the person with your phone covering your face or someone else's!

I RSVP'd that I'd attend, but now I can't come. Do I need to do anything?

Answer

We're disappointed you won't be able to join us, but we understand things pop up unexpectedly! Please update your RSVP to "decline" as this will help us plan accordingly. You can change your RSVP status on the "RSVP" page of our wedding website.
