FAQs

You may be wondering...
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask that all RSVPs are submitted by May 15th.

Question

I can’t attend, but I’d like to send a gift. How can I do that?

Answer

We appreciate monetary gifts of any size from those who can’t be with us in person. Please see our gifts page to make a contribution.

Question

Will transportation be provided to the events?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to events. However, we are working on organizing a carpool for the Olokun Offering through the RSVP page as the location is quite a distance away and can not be reached by public transportation. Additionally, we have provided information for parking and public transportation to easily access each venue. See the specific events for more information on transportation.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome to some, but not all events. Please see the specific event description and invitation to determine whether or not children are invited.

Question

Will childcare be provided at the events where they are welcome?

Answer

Childcare will only be provided during “Slow Your Soul” (an adults-only event). If you will need childcare, please plan to provide a packed lunch for your child, as well as any needs for outdoor play, such as allergy medicine, sunscreen, and water bottles, etc. Any (invited) children who attend are the responsibility of their parent/guardian. Some venues do not normally allow children so parental supervision will be required.

Question

Am I allowed to take and post photos at the events I attend?

Answer

You are absolutely allowed to take pictures at the events, but we are private people so we ask for no posting of Alex & Lela and no tagging on any social media platforms. We will provide a link to upload photos and videos for sharing with us and posting approval. Due to limited phone storage, please don’t text photos and videos to us directly.

Question

What should I bring to these events?

Answer

Please review all venue information and bring what you need to be comfortable.

Question

Are all events taking place indoors?

Answer

Some events will take place outdoors, so please adhere to weather forecasts and dress accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

There is suggested attire for each event, so that your drip / swag / garb / adornment matches the vibe and tone of each event.

Question

Are there accommodations near the various venues?

Answer

There are a number of hotels located in proximity to the ReUnion venues. We’ve listed them here.

Question

Will food be served at all events?

Answer

Food will be served at most events, but not all. Each event details the portion size of the food that will be served.

Question

Are there menu options for people with dietary restrictions?

Answer

We are collecting information about dietary restrictions through the RSVP page for any event where food will be offered so that all will be accommodated.

Question

Who do I contact if I have any additional questions?

Answer

You can send your questions to gracegratitude2026@gmail.com and someone from the project management team will get back to you promptly.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

There is no official registry, but there is a space where you can make various monetary offerings.

Question

A Final Note in Consideration of the Current US Climate:

Answer

There are so many pressures, dangers, and varying degrees of hardship for many of us and those in our circles, at this time. But after deep reflection, we felt it was important to gather in love and activation. It feels imperative that we strive to keep our vibrancy despite our collective circumstances. Because of that, we completely understand if you are unable to participate in person or offer a gift. If you are facing circumstances we are unaware of, please let us know if there are ways that we can help alleviate your burden. We are each other’s source of power. And ain’t no power like the power of the people cause the power of the people don’t stop. Power to the People. LAJ & ABS
