Radiant is the one word that describes the woman that Ali met back at Bemidji State while completing her Elementary Education degree. Between late nights in the computer lab rushing to finalize homework and getting to be surrounded by her talent in the BSU choir, her recitals that lead to her vocal performance degree and choral degree, it was pure magic. Their friendship blossomed and became a needed outlet for some of Ali’s favorite hobbies to share in; music, crafts, and cooking. These weekends are still the best way to recharge after stress and needed time to reset. Later Robert was introduced, and now they both hold her near and dear to their hearts. Maggie is someone that you just want to be friends with, through her patience, kindness and some kind of magnetic pull that just makes you want to be a better person. Through all of the love and hope that Maggie has brought into their lives over the years they thought there was no one better than to help start the next chapter of their lives to Mr. & Mrs.

Ali and Hunter have been best friends since high school. Growing out of adolescent years and into adulthood the two have been each other's anchors in times of celebration and in times of loss and hardship. Even though they are miles apart, it is a friendship that picks up exactly where it was left off, as if time and distance play no role into how deeply the roots of their friendship have grown. Through the years Hunter has been a witness of every cheesy joke, every heart ache, helped Ali get up when life knocked her down, and cheered when she kicked its ass. When it felt like there was no one, Hunter has always been there, and with a friendship like that, one that has stood the test of time, there is no one more perfect to stand by Ali during one of life’s biggest decisions and promises made to another human.

Kylie has become a sister to Ali, an Aunt to her son, and the kindness this world needs more of. Kylie found her way into their lives in 2022, and since meeting, Ali has watched more football and reality tv than she ever thought she would. Though some are still not her favorite, you find love and joy in doing things that are a passion for others. Kylie is PASSIONATE for both. They both share a love for books, but just like sisters, it doesn’t mean they are reading the same things. Asking her to be a part of this special day, it felt like the space that was missing was filled by a woman who knows how to love big and is the support you never knew you needed, and would be an idiot to lose.

Winston is the best little dude out there, just munching on his hands and passing gas right now, but who better to carry the rings that will signify the biggest promise one has ever made to another person? It was an easy decision that the guy that holds both Ali and Robert’s hearts was the perfect person for the job of helping his parents promise to love one another for the rest of their lives.
