Are you registered?

Answer

Please see the "Registry" section for the list of activities that we have planned. We would love any assistance with making memorable experiences on our honeymoon in Portugal.

How do I RSVP and when should I RSVP by?

Answer

To RSVP, follow the prompts and answer a few questions above in the "RSVP" section. Please have your RSVP by June 27th at the latest. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you will not be able to attend. Please help us by submitting on time.

Question

What should I do if I canʻt make it?

Answer

You will be missed! Please let us know you will not be able to attend and RSVP "Will Not Attend" as soon as you can so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You may bring a date if your invitation says "and Guest". Otherwise, we prefer if it was just you!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception will be outdoors. There will be shaded areas within the Hacienda itself. We recommend having sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats handy if necessary.

What time should I arrive at the venue for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 4pm. Please be seated by 3:45pm. See "Schedule" section for more details on the exact location of Hacienda de Las Flores. Your invitation should also have this information.

Is there a dress code for the Ceremony/Reception?

Answer

Dressy casual. For men, a suit or sports jacket and nice pants/slacks; for women a cocktail dress or dressy-ish skirt and blouse. Aloha print attire also welcomed! If you're feeling especially festive, go for a tux or long gown! No jeans (or white dresses), please!

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for this event. Our ceremony and reception are conveniently taking place at the same venue. Parking is complimentary within the designated parking lot, or street parking outside of the gates is also available. However, we highly recommend Uber or Lyft, as parking spots are limited. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpool if you plan to drink.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes. Our venue is ADA compliant. There is a separate entrance for wheelchairs. There will also be signs around the venue for alternative routes. A golf cart will be available on site which can shuttle handicapped guests to and from the ceremony and reception areas.

What would the weather be like?

Answer

We canʻt guarantee anything, but the East Bay in the summertime is generally warm and sunny. Hats or sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures around the property for around an hour. All other guests can enjoy small bites, alcohol, games, and photobooth at the grounds. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm, with dancing to follow.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Light snacks will be displayed during cocktail hour, along with a full cash bar (for any premium alcohol in excess of your allotted tickets). Wine will also be provided during dinner. Coffee, water, and soft drinks provided throughout the whole event.

I have a food allergy or a dietary restriction. What is the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions by answering the question related to special diet requests when you RSVP directly on this website.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Each guest 21 and over will be given 2 drink tickets to use for any well cocktail, beer, or wine of their choice throughout the event (cocktail hour and reception). Complimentary wine will also be provided at each table during dinner. Any cocktail with a premium grade alcohol or any additional alcoholic beverage without a drink ticket will also be available at the cash bar thereafter.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Our main event ends promptly at 9:00pm, but for those who wish to continue to celebrate, the After Party will be held at the Walnut Creek Marriott, where the lobby bar hours will be extended for us. Please see the "Schedule" section for more details of this post wedding activities.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! However, we do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so our photographer can have the most optimal shots. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take advantage of the photobooth and post pictures using our wedding hashtag #LeinnangotRobbd so we can see them too!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We reserved a room block for 3 nights: July 25 to July 27 at the Marriott Walnut Creek. Please visit the "Travel" section for more details on what is included and how to take advantage of our discounted rates. Our discounted room rates are on a first come, first serve basis. The last day to reserve is June 20, 2023. Of course, we recommend booking earlier rather than later! Please note that if you want to extend your visit (either come earlier, or stay later), you will need to call the hotel and coordinate directly with them.
