When Karlen and Leilani met in 2020, their connection was almost instant. Both of them remember how quickly they fell into a deep friendship and felt immediately comfortable in each other's presence. They met on a church camping trip in July and began dating on October. When Leilani went to serve as a student missionary in the fall of 2021, she spent three weeks in quarantine. During those weeks, Leilani and Karlen spent hours on FaceTime, creating a Pinterest board of their dream wedding, complete with a sunset color palette, brunch food for dinner, and a ceremony at the lake house Karlen grew up in. On May 3, 2026, you'll get to see those ideas come alive and we cannot wait for the laughter, happy tears, and reminiscing over a love that has grown between Karlen and Leilani over the past five and a half years.
