Height of Land
A stunning view via a turn-off on Route 17, just a 15 minute drive from Oquossoc. The view features an expansive look at Mooselookmeguntic Lake, which Bald Mountain Camps is nestled on the edge of!
Quill Hill
One of our favorite scenic spots, just a four mile drive up a dirt road. Just below the summit, a wood fired grill (wood provided) and picnic tables are available. From there you can either walk the 3/4 mile path or drive another two minutes to the 2848’ summit !
Outdoor Heritage Museum
The Outdoor Heritage Museum shares the unique history that has made the Rangeley region one of the premier outdoor destinations in America. The Museum’s treasures will immerse you in the stories of Rangeley icons like Carrie Stevens, Herb Welch, Cornelia “Fly Rod” Crosby and many others via artifacts, vintage film, and art.
