PALM SPRINGS AIRPORT is the closest and most convenient airport to the wedding (if you can find a direct flight)! ONTARIO AIRPORT and JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT are options within ~1.5 hours drive from Palm Springs. Both are relatively small, with limited flights. There are direct flights from NYC to Ontario, CA! LAX and SAN DIEGO airports are about equidistant from Palm Springs. Both are roughly 2.5 to 3 hours' drive to the wedding venue on a Friday afternoon.
