We're getting married!

Like many modern love stories, theirs began on a dating app during the summer of the COVID-19 pandemic. After a few weeks of texting, he asked her on a date. Cautious but curious, she decided to bring her friends along. They spent the day at the beach, and while she hadn’t planned on seeing him again, his persistence and genuine nature won her over. Their second date — just the two of them this time — changed everything. Even though she was preparing to move to San Francisco for school and wasn’t looking for anything serious, fate clearly had other plans. A year later, they both ended up in San Francisco, living in the dorms. When the school year ended, they decided to stay together for the summer, and by the end of it, they knew they didn’t want to live apart again. As the years went on, they supported each other through every milestone. She began her career at a children’s Hospital, and he pursued his dream of joining the California Highway Patrol. When he left for the academy in Sacramento for six months, they learned how to stay connected through distance — a time that only strengthened their bond. After both graduating college, they set out to see the world together, traveling to the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Mexico, and especially Hawaii — a place that quickly became their favorite destination. In January 2025, Hawaii became even more special. While visiting the botanical gardens in Oahu, he proposed with the help of his childhood best friend. That morning, he took her to breakfast, and she couldn’t help but notice how nervous he seemed — even disappearing a few times to “go to the bathroom.” Later that day, as they walked along the water surrounded by lush greenery, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was the perfect moment in their favorite place, marking the start of their forever. Now, after five years of love, laughter, and growth, they look forward to a lifetime of supporting one another and continuing to explore the world — side by side.
