Built in the 1920s as the PECO Delaware Generating Station, this building is a former power plant that once supplied electricity to the city of Philadelphia. It also holds special meaning for us - Paul’s dad worked here long before it was transformed into the beautiful venue where we’ll celebrate our wedding. We’re so excited to share this space, which has such a fun & personal connection to our family, with all of our guests!
We kindly request a black tie preferred dress code - think tuxedos or formal dark suits for men, and floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for ladies. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel great!
Yes, complimentary valet parking will be provided for all guests at the venue. If you are staying at The Switch House Hotel or Riversuites, valet is also included complimentary with your booking
Yes! Each guest will have the opportunity to select their entrée table-side on the night of the wedding. Please include any dietary restrictions or allergies with your RSVP, and let your server know again when placing your order so we can ensure your meal is perfectly suited to you.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM, and we ask that everyone is seated in the ceremony space by 4:45 PM. If you’d like to arrive a little early, there will be a pre-ceremony gathering with small bites in the Stone & Web Lounge on the first floor starting at 3:30 PM - perfect for mingling and enjoying a cocktail before the festivities begin!
We’ve connected with a few hotel options in the Philadelphia area to provide our guests with a variety of options with the best possible rates - please see the Accommodations & Travel section on our website for more details. For a more local feel, there are also plenty of charming Airbnb options in the Fishtown and Old City neighborhoods, just a short trip from the venue.
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If a plus one is included, their name will appear under yours on the RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
While we love all of our little ones, this event will be adults-only, except for immediate family members who are part of the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at The Switch House, all in one place. For your convenience, there will be a coat check available at the entrance of the venue.
