We're getting married!

We both attended the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar while in high school and met when we were back on staff together in 2014. We only saw each other once a year at Troy University for each year's seminar, but in 2018, we started talking more and the rest is history!

While in Mobile with my family over Christmas break, my mom said she wanted us to take family pictures since we were all together. We woke up and got dressed and were in the living room of my aunt's house about to go take the pictures. Right there in front of the fire place, he got down on one knee and popped the question! He proposed with a "warm fuzzy" I had given him at HOBY earlier in the year. It is a little piece of yarn that you give to someone, along with a compliment or kind word. When I gave it to him back in May, I got nervous and panicked and all I could say sarcastically was "You're okay." So when he proposed, he literally said, "You're okay. Will you marry me?"
