Our first photo together!

Leigh Anne loves exploring new places and things with Matt. In October 2019 Matt took her to Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm where she was introduced to her new favorite fall activity... watching pig races!

Disney World was our first vacation together-- and it was magical. We said "I love you" for the first time in front of the castle and played our first round of mini golf (ask Matt who won!)

Matt taught Leigh Anne to ski in Winter Park, CO and we love going back to visit Aunt Ann and Uncle Drew!

Matt never liked wine, but this trip to Napa changed everything. Now Matt is the expert at picking out the best Cabernet Sauvignons!

We got to enjoy a very nice lunch at Pebble Beach. The views are absolutely amazing from the restaurant.

The baseball & hockey games we were supposed to see in AZ got canceled while we were on the flight due to the covid lockdown. Instead of going home, we made the most of it and went to the Grand Canyon

For my birthday I wanted to play mini golf and visit the zoo. Chicago was still in covid lockdown in April 2020 so Matt & Catherine brought the zoo and mini golf to me! This was the best birthday ever

For our 1st anniversary trip we went to Door County, WI. The views were stunning, the fish boils were tons of fun, but we were not fans of the cherry wine.

For our 1st anniversary we went back to where it all started... Fado Irish Pub!

Matt unofficially became part of the Kapustynski family when he agreed to participate in our Christmas costume contest. In 2021 the family dressed up like Schitt's Creek. Can you guess who we were?

Our baseball rivalry is strong. Matt is desperately trying to convert Leigh Anne to a White Sox fan but she still stays loyal to the Cubs. (Can you blame her?... she moved to Chicago in 2016!)

On our last night in Hawaii, we got some stunning sunset pictures while we were eating dinner

While in Maui we hiked the Haleakalā volcano. It looked like we were on Mars (and felt like it too!) Temps were in the 40s at the top and we were so glad we had our winter coats with us.

We love visiting Leigh Anne's cousins in Cape Cod every summer. While we have seen lots of seals, we are still hoping to someday see a shark

Matt was able to enjoy a few rounds of golf while we were in Maui. At Wailea we were able to see whales in the water below.

We drove the road to Hana in Maui and stopped here for a photo op by a waterfall. We also got to taste some of the best banana bread ever at a little roadside stand.

Chicago will always be a city that means so much to both of us

Leigh Anne got to experience spring skiing for the first time on this trip to Lake Tahoe.

We have had lots of fun being first-time puppy parents. By some miracle, our wild-child puppy Pierogi still finds a way to graduate training school
