Wedding Ceremony

Ricardo and I are excited to have our bilingual Catholic Wedding Mass officiated by Friar Hugh to enter into this union together and with God. During the ceremony, together we will hear and reflect on readings from the Bible, participate in the celebration of the Eucharist (Communion), and experience washing of the feet. While the foot-washing is not commonly part of wedding ceremonies, it is traditionally done on Holy Thursday during Holy Week, commemorating when Jesus washed the disciples' feet at the Last Supper. For us, this act symbolizes humility and a commitment to putting one another first—values that are deeply meaningful as we begin our marriage.
Break / Photos
12:15 pm - 3:00 pm
Following the ceremony, the wedding party will take time for photos / portraits at St. Francis and at the Reception space. Guests are welcome to come to the reception property early to relax. We have the property at Stagecoach road for the whole weekend.
Cocktail Hour & Lawn Games
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

We'll have drinks (yes of course coffee!) and appetizers for adults and kids. Feel free to bring shoes appropriate for being on the grass. We will have kid-friendly games and full access to the house. This is a time to hang out, eat appetizers, sign the guest book, take some pictures, play corn hole and watch the kids run around. We will have live music starting at 4pm. If it rains, we will move to an indoor space on the property.
Welcome Toast & First Dance
5:00 pm
Gather around and find your seats. We'll kick off the evening with a welcome toast, our first dance, and a blessing before we eat.
Dinner Reception
5:45 pm
We will have a Mexican buffet with Mediterranean sides and dessert table.
Toasts & Speeches
6:30 pm
Relax and continue eating while we hear a few toasts from the bridal/groomsmen party and family members.
Dancing
7:30 pm
We'll start with the Father-Daughter, Mother-Son dances and open up to dance floor for everyone to enjoy!
Cake Cutting & Wedding Piñata
8:30 pm
Join us while we cut the cake, and enjoy our dessert table of sweets and small bites. The kids can take turns breaking open the wedding piñata before heading back to the dance floor.
Sparkler Sendoff
10:00 pm
Join us in a sparkler sendoff! The night isn't over, but folks wanting an earlier bedtime are free to bid goodnight, or stay for our late night party full of dancing and fun!
Late Night Dance Party

Come dance your heart out, and celebrate with us for a late night dance party. We'll do a mix of music including line dancing, popular American hits, cumbia, salsa, merengue, bachata, and whatever songs you recommend.
