What's your favorite trip we've taken?

L: We hadn't been dating long at all and Piero asked me to go to Norway with him to see the northern lights. I (& most of my friends) thought it was crazy to go to Europe with this guy I had been seeing only for a few months. It rained the entire time and we never saw the northern lights but we had SO much fun exploring Norway and ended up taking a hopper to Copenhagen too for a few days. We biked the entire city, ate weird, fermented fish and froze our butts off. It was spontaneous and solidified both of our love for travel and our ability to make the most when things don't go according to plan. P: In 2017 Leigh and I took spent 2 weeks in Italy. We travelled from Florence to Siena first. There we saw Il Palio de Siena, which is simultaneously the most and least interesting event I’ve ever been to. We then spent a week traveling along the Amalfi coast through Sorrento, Positano, Praiano, and Capri. Each town was better than the last. Every stop along the way we spent time exploring panini shops, hidden restaurant gems, and stunning views. That trip is the perfect example of how our shared love of food, travel, adventure, and culture brought us together.

What are you most excited about being married to Leigh/Piero

Answer

P: Leigh and I can spend hours together without being bored and can make an adventure out of anything. I can’t wait to see what our next stops in life will bring because I know that no matter what, we always find a way to make the most of it. So what I’m most excited about is just that, that I’m excited. L: Have you seen how cute he is?!?! Piero often knows what I need before I do. He is my confidant and biggest cheerleader. He challenges me in the right ways, has an amazing intuition and drives me to never give up. I can’t wait to navigate life together as his partner, friend and, one day, as parents.
