It’s not every day that you stumble across someone who will be in your life forever. There’s no telling when and where it happens, nor why. And yet, here we are: two frisbee playing nerds who happened to be close enough to have stumbled onto each other’s path but not quite enough to follow down the same one. At least not until one of us decided to take the leap and see where our journey would lead. From there, the real challenges began for our newly fledged team. Mysterious instructions leading to dodging insane children on roller skates. All night tennis racket construction resulting in sleeping through drive-in double features. Grueling road trips to end in familial interrogation barrages. One after the other emerged, and we persevered. We battled through extended separations and unstable careers. We endured blistering winds and scorching deserts. We climb daily to the highest room in the tallest tower. And yet, here we are. Here we are thanks to the unending patience of one of us and the hidden insanity of the other. Here we are thanks to never giving up and never surrendering. Here we are thanks to some inexplicable bond that ties two people together. And here we are thanks to all of you who have supported us and been involved every step of the way. We are so excited to share our day with you, and can’t wait to see you in September.
