We have a bus chartered to pick us all up after the event and to drive us to a bar back in Sacramento! If you answered yes, there should be a seat for you! While getting a rideshare from Sacramento to Davis shouldn't be an issue, we were worried about how many we would be able to get in the reverse direction. So for those of you who want to keep the party going after the music stops, we'll make it happen!
No. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! If you need help finding a sitter, please let us know. We don't have any personal experience but would be happy to help if it's the difference between you coming or not.
We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! We are requesting a cocktail dress code (ladies think dresses or pantsuits, fellas no need for a tie but please no jeans). You know we are all about comfort so please wear what you're happiest to dance in.
Yes! The venue has plenty of parking and staff will be on site to assist.
We will be having a welcome event on Friday October 10. The location has been updated on the schedule page but meet us at Mojo's in downtown Sacramento for bite or a drink or whatever night you want to have!
Yes! We are familiar with some of the hotels in our area which will be more local to our welcome event. If you prefer to stay closer to the venue (in Davis versus Sacramento) we are much less familiar but are happy to provide a suggestion. Keep in mind we are expecting our event to be the same weekend as UC Davis homecoming, so we anticipate Davis to be more crowded than usual.
Yes! If for whatever reason you are unable to drive home your car can stay on the property overnight but needs to be picked up by 10:30AM the next morning. We will be picking up cars ourselves, so if we need to carpool for car retrieval, let us know!
