This is a popular destination in this part of the lower mainland, especially in the summer. There are tons of restaurants and bars. When the tide is low, you can walk far out on to the beach and the water is warm so its great for swimming. It takes a few hours to walk all the way from one end to the other, making it a great place for a hike.
