We are so excited to share our wedding day with you! We met on September 7, 2019. Leigha had gone to her sorority sister- Linda and Gordon Gray’s wedding with beautiful reception at the Bolling Haxall House (which is where we chose to have our reception as well!). After the wedding, she and a few friends went to a bar next door to where she was living in the Fan. Charlie also happened to be at Social52. They locked eyes and began talking. Charlie ended up telling Leigha he had gone to Brunswick Academy. Leigha’s roommate at the time, Casey Burns also had gone to BA. Casey was standing near her and Leigha went over and told her, “Do you recognize him, he said he went to BA?” She did not, which made Leigha go back over to him and question him more. Thinking back, Casey and Leigha faintly remember asking to check his ID. After passing his BA quiz completed by Casey and a round of green tea shots, we talked and laughed for the rest of the night. Later on that evening, Leigha and Charlie exchanged numbers & Leigha pressed him via text to meet + go on dates from there! She knew there was something special about him the first night they met.
