Below you will find answers to some frequently asked questions regarding our wedding. If you have any other questions that are not listed here, please do not hesitate to reach out to Leigha prior to the event. Please refrain from texting the Bride or Groom any questions on their special day!
Question

What time should we arrive for the Ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will begin at 4:30. Please plan on arriving by 4pm so you can find parking and your seats! If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, we ask that you kindly refrain from joining the ceremony as not to interrupt the procession.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is semi-formal. Ladies can wear floor length, tea-length, or midi-length semi formal to formal dresses, cocktail dresses, or pantsuits. Men can wear a suit, slacks and a sports coat, or slacks and a button down; jackets are not required! Please no jeans/ denim pants, t-shirts, or sweats. Please leave all smart watches at home- calorie and step counting can resume the next day :)

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Whatever shoes you feel comfortable in. Please keep in mind that the property has grass, rock, and dirt terrain. Please no sneakers or tennis shoes.

Can I wear white, Ivory, or cream color attire?

Answer

No, please let the bride have her special day.

Question

Is the event outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside. The reception will take place indoors, with an outdoor space available. Please plan accordingly.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we love all of your little ones, we want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy themselves. We have chosen to make our special day adults only. Thank you for your understanding!

Are pets welcome?

Answer

Even though the thought of everyones pets in tuxes and dresses warms our hears (especially Leigha), please leave your furry friends at home!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline stated on the invitation is August 1st. Please respect this date, as we have to give our venue a final count in advance. We want all of you to share in our special day with us, so please make sure to RSVP promptly!

What if I can't attend?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed! Please make sure to RSVP accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd that you are attending, but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify Leigha as soon as possible! 860-500-0778

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor. Please respect this number and RSVP accordingly!

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking on site. If you plan on drinking, please have a designated driver. The venue is in a more remote location, so Uber/Lyft may not be readily available. Please plan accordingly. We want to make sure you all get home safe!

Is there a hotel block for out of town guests?

Answer

Yes! Any hotel or travel information can be found in the "Travel" section of the wedding website.

Question

Can I take pictures / videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent, or turned off, during the ceremony. The point of an unplugged ceremony is so the guests can focus on the bride and groom, while our professional photographers can capture some of the most important moments of our lives! We would hate for a well-meaning person or their phone to be blocking a moment that our photographers are trying to capture. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them! Thank you for respecting our wishes!
