Hotels book fast in Brevard, especially in October.  We recommend if you plan on staying overnight (which we hope you do) to go ahead and book your hotel.  Hendersonville and Fletcher (near Asheville Airport) are also places that have hotels that are not too far away from Brevard.  

If you are flying, Asheville Airport the closest airport and is about 20 -  25 minutes from Brevard.
