We met in high school and quickly became best friends. Throughout college and beyond we believed we were "just friends," but ask any friend or family member, they have a very different story...

Lyan was a name fate gave to us due to the Leigah+Ryan name combo that sometimes comes out as Lyan (happens more often than you think). We laughed the first few times people misspoke but now the Lion, representing passion, power, courage, and strength, has walked this journey with us both individually and as a couple. On another note..we have always shared the mutual love for The Lion King having seen it in high school on Broadway together. We feel so grateful to be able to honor the spirit of the Lion on our wedding day.
