Joey Leider

Best Man

Jake and Joey went from nonstop fighting (competing) their whole childhood to nonstop laughter and enjoyment throughout their adult years. They love to spend time together and seem to always find a laugh no matter what the topic is. Joey has been extremely important to Jake since birth which can easily be shown by the fact that Jake peed his pants four times the day Joey was born and figurately peed his pants any time Joey was missing for a second growing up. They have a great bond as brothers and Jake is extremely thankful for their relationship.

Ali Leas

Ali and Kristen met and hit it off in 2015 at a bachelorette party in Nashville. Little did they know they would be arriving as strangers, but leaving as best friends. While they have been close all of these years, they grew to be even closer when Kristen moved down state 2 years ago when she met Jake. Their favorite thing to do together is enjoy their weekly wine Tuesdays while watching The Bachelorette and munching on charcuterie boards. With living only 4.7 miles away from one another, Jake, Kristen and Ava now get to see as much of Ali as they want :)

Andy and Kristen are only 1.5 years apart in age and you can imagine what life was like for Kristen growing up with an older brother! You could find Andy chasing her around with air soft guns, dreaming up some embarrassing stories of her and telling all of his friends (most of you know this story), playing fort out in the woods while sliding in the mud, or hanging on the boat up north jamming to music. From elementary school to college they were always up to no good and not much has changed as adults; they still have an unbeatable record in drunk ball! A good friend knows all of your stories, but a brother has lived them with you and helped write them. Kristen is truly fortunate to consider her brother as a best friend and is thankful for their relationship.

Nicole and Kristen met in college at CMU; Fire Up Chips! During Kristen's sophomore year she met Nicole while working at Buffalo Wild Wings and little did they know they lived directly across the street from one another and would become best friends that same week. Saying these two were inseparable is an understatement. From sharing clothes, to doing hair/makeup, to going on vacations, these two did everything with one another. When Nicole moved to Texas in 2015, these two were not worried at all as they new their friendship would not change. In Kristen's opinion it has only grown since as they now spend everyday texting, talking on the phone and face timing, and it gives Jake and Kristen a reason to go on a vacation twice a year. Maybe Kristen can convince Jake to visit even more!!

Parents of the groom

From running a business together, to the normal trials and tribulations of life’s lessons, Jake and his parents have been through it all. Jake’s Mom has been providing him authentic and amazing meals his whole life and always makes his favorite peanut butter Reeses cookies whenever needed. They enjoy having meals together and soaking it down with plenty of wine. If they aren’t playing golf together, Jake and his Dad are probably talking about some other sport anyways or enjoying a nice weekly lunch together, a tradition they still have going strong. Jake is most thankful his parents have been there his whole life and most of all for leading and teaching by example. He is also very thankful for all the amazing trips and vacations they have been able to provide his whole life.

Kristen is fortunate to be very close with mom and dad, or according to the names in her phone, mommy and daddy. One of Kristen's favorite things to do with her mom is meetup for lunch at Sagebrush and share their favorite salsa and mozzarella sticks. They can also spend hours in a row watching Hallmark with one another, especially around the holidays. Kristen loves being in the outdoors with her dad and while she may not have always been able to take the fish off the line herself, she has always loved spending those special moments out on the water, on the ice or around a bonfire with him. She's most thankful to her parents for always being there, for helping mold her into the woman she is today, and for all the unforgettable trips and experiences they have gone through together.
