Leo and Leia met on a dating app called Bumble. On Bumble, women have to send the first message so Leia sent a message to Leo, on her birthday, asking about the pet snake he had around his neck in one of his photos. They both learned how much the other loved God and were practicing Christians which quickly drew them together. They officially met in person at The Gathering Scene which is a coffee shop in the mall that has a wall of board games to play while drinking coffee. The first date was a hit, they got along very well and had a very fun time playing games together and sipping hot drinks.

Leo and Leia had been talking about marriage and how much they loved each other and were ready to take that step. Leo had said that he thought he might propose towards the end of 2023 around the fall season. Because of this, Leia didn’t expect the proposal to be at the 4th of July party at her parents’ house! She had gotten up to get some snacks, and when she came back to sit by Leo, he stopped her and began telling her how she means everything to him. He got down on one knee, in front of all her friends and family, and asked her to marry him which she eagerly agreed to! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
