Before they ever spoke, BK had already spotted his future bride. In all started back in 2016, at a CAMSA convention in Houston, he noticed Lehna from across the room and could not help but admire. He then followed her on Instagram and after a year of yearning, he finally worked up the courage to text her on Snapchat with a message so bold, so unexpected, that Lehna couldn’t help but laugh. At first, she thought he was cocky, and maybe a little bit cheesy but as usual, curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to play along. Playing hard to get, she brushed off a few of his texts and calls. But on one ordinary day, a deep conversation between them shifted everything. They talked for endless hours and the spark that had been quietly building unbeknownst to her turned into intrigue as she realized there is so much more to BK than meets the eye. From that moment on, Lehna was sprung and undoubtedly drawn to BK. What started with playful banter grew into cute good morning messages and endless late-night conversations. By the time BK flew to San Diego, where Lehna lived and studied, their connection had become undeniable. Bk asked Lehna to be his girlfriend at her favorite beach, and from then, their love story took flight. A love so deep, a love so strong that it transcended long distance and different time .zones From weekends between Las Vegas and San Diego to holidays in Bali, Morocco, Greece, and Dubai their bond grew stronger with every adventure. Since being together, they have supported one another through momentous milestones, such as graduations and first-jobs. On May 25, 2023, in Positano, Italy, BK planned the grandest gesture yet: a rooftop sunset proposal, framed by a heart-shaped flower arch overlooking the Amalfi coast. It was everything Lehna dreamed of–romantic, breathtaking and unforgettable. Now, their journey continues as they prepare to unite not only their hearts, but their families. With Bk’s roots in the Banso tribe and lehna’s in the Mbatu tribe of Cameroon, they will honor both cultures in a vibrant traditional wedding back home, surrounded by the people they love the most. This is only the beginning of their forever.

On the 25th of May 2023, BK gave Lehna the surprise of her lifetime. That night, while on vacation in Positano, Italy, Lehna simply thought they were going out to dinner. As they walked up steps of the building, little did she know BK was leading her to a stunning rooftop adorned with gorgeous flowers and a breathtaking heart-shaped sign that asked the BIG question. As the sun set over the beautiful coastline, BK went down on bended knee asking Lehna to officially become Mrs. Kidze and thus it was written in the stars. This was the start of their new chapter, the beginning of their Happily Ever After and truly a match made in heaven. Their journey to forever began with a sunset, a promise of two hearts becoming one, and a view they’ll never forget.

Lehna and BK were blessed to begin their union surrounded by loved ones during their traditional wedding in Cameroon back in January, where they honored the beautiful traditions of the Nso and Mbatu tribes. That meaningful celebration marked the beginning of their forever.
