We first met when we were just 15 and 16, during a one-time brief introduction that left a lasting impression. Life took us on different paths, but Derek never forgot that moment. Years later, he reached out with a message that changed everything: “I’ve always wondered what would’ve happened if we went on a date, what do we have to lose?” Eight years later, here we are, ready to take the next step!

Getting to the finish line of this proposal was quite the adventure, filled with its fair share of trials and tribulations. But in 2023, we finally made it to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. Despite the rain and my looking like a drowned puffin with 3x raincoats on, it was a fantastic experience. The beauty of the cliffs and the joy of the moment made it all worthwhile.
