Answer

The ceremony will be begin promptly at 4pm. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seat and settle in.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to dress up and celebrate with us in formal attire! Think cocktail dresses, suits, and elevated looks. Most importantly, come feeling your best… just leave the denim at home.

Question

Is Parking Available?

Question

Will transportation be provided between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation between venues. We understand the ceremony and reception are at separate locations and that some guests may not have cars. Fortunately, there are RideShare options available in the area. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility with the logistics.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour & reception?

Answer

The ceremony is expected to end around 4:45 PM, and cocktail hour begins at 5:30 PM at The Rutledge. The venues are only about 5 minutes apart, so we recommend heading over, finding parking, and enjoying the area nearby. There are a few great spots within walking distance—including a rooftop bar at the Canopy by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown just across the street, as well as other restaurants and bars right next to The Rutledge. It’s a perfect chance to relax, grab a drink, and get ready to celebrate!

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

This is an adult-only celebration, with the exception of children specifically named on the invitation. For guests whose children are included in the invitation, please note that the reception will be an adults-oriented celebration and may not be suitable for young children.
