Maid of Honor
Gab and Sophie have been friends for 20 years now! Their parents, both nurses, worked together, and one day realized their kids were the same age. The story goes that when Gab and Sophie first met, they shared a hug at the front door, and within minutes, they were lost in a world of Barbie dolls and princess gowns. Over the years, their friendship has only grown deeper. After Sophie lost her dad, the Van Ziles moved in with the Tobias family, and what started as childhood friendship blossomed into a sisterhood. Though, like sisters, they’ve had their fights, Gab has always been there to teach Sophie the true meaning of kindness, and patience. Gab’s influence has shaped Sophie into who she is today, and she couldn’t imagine her wedding day without her by her side.

After high school, they moved into their first apartment and tackled the ups and downs of adult life together. The pair have been there for all of each other's major life events from graduations, to new jobs, many concerts, and most importantly the entirety of Michael and Sophie's relationship. In 2021, Gavin and Michael started throwing The Annual Player's Ball Halloween Party, an event the two talk about for almost the entire year. Gavin is and always has been like a brother to Michael.
Bridesmaid
Chelsea and Sophie first crossed paths in middle school, but it wasn’t until they both joined show choir in high school that their friendship truly began. They quickly became known as “the twins.” Whether it was their shared sense of humor, matching energy, or just the brown hair, people constantly mixed them up, including their own parents in the audience! Toward the end of high school, Chelsea moved in with Sophie and Gab, officially forming a trio that felt more like a chosen family than just a group of friends. Through all the chaotic moments of growing up they somehow always had each other. Their friendship has been a constant source of comfort and strength through every phase of life, including this new one.

Zyler and Michael met in 1st grade and were always friends, but their friendship really took off during their senior year of high school when they were assigned as lab partners in an elective botany class. Even though they were unable to grow their cilantro plant as part of their class project, the two have been best buddies since. After living with Gavin for 2 years, Michael moved in with Zyler for a year before Sophie moved back to Columbus. They share many interests in music, movies, and sports (he even got Michael interested in baseball for a short while). Zyler has quickly become a crucial member in planning the annual Halloween Party, and an even more crucial friend.

Marci and Sophie met during their junior year at DACC, and from the start, they were connected at the hip. After high school, they both ended up at Kent State, and their paths became even more intertwined. They survived the struggles of nursing school together, from clinical rotations to all- night study sessions, to nightmare roommates. Graduating together felt like a shared victory, but the milestones didn’t stop there. They both landed their first nursing jobs at The James shortly after, and now they're even wedding planning at the same time! Through the challenges, triumphs, and coffee breaks, Marci and Sophie have built a friendship rooted in resilience, humor, and unwavering support — one that will undoubtedly carry them through whatever chapter is next.

Caleb and Michael met in 2019 during their first scheduled drill weekend. By chance, the two joined the United States Air Force at the same time, the same age, the same base, and in the same job. They even got assigned to the same flight of trainees during basic training and tech school. They both got through their training and even did their on-the-job training together. Outside of work they became good friends, attending concerts, WWE, and having game nights at home. Shortly after they began working together, they both went to Cleveland, OH for 3 months to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic where they each earned the Army Achievement Medal for their efforts. Even though Michael has chosen to leave the armed forces and Caleb has stayed in, the two remain great friends.

Jules and Sophie first met in class at DACC during their junior year of high school, and from there, their friendship took off. Over the years, they've had countless adventures, many of which involved their close friends Gab and Chelsea. And, just to be clear, they definitely never got into trouble together! Jules is the kind of friend who’s always there when you need a shoulder to cry on, but just as good at getting the party started when it's time to celebrate. Whether it's a tough moment or a fun one, she's the perfect balance of support and energy, making every experience with her memorable.

Ben and Michael met when they were kids. Ben and his family lived in the same neighborhood as Michael when they were little, so Michael always knew of Ben and Jenna as "the other twins". In high school, Ben and Michael started hanging out more through mutual friends like Gavin, and they both played the saxophone in band class. Now, as adults Ben lives in Arizona, which makes seeing each other more difficult, but they will occasionally play video games online, and they try to take advantage of any time Ben comes back to Columbus.
