Alyssa has been Maria’s best friend since childhood and is the mother of Maria’s Godson, Bowen. They grew up together in church and GOYA, where she also met Legera and witnessed their friendship grow. Maria was honored to be Alyssa’s Koumbara, and from middle school through adulthood, Alyssa has been a constant presence through every stage of Maria's life.

Legera and Keith met at Stetson University in 2008 and have been best friends since! Keith is one of those friends who's there through thick and thin- the highs and lows, and has never left her side. Maria met Dave while working a wedding, and their friendship grew naturally over shared interests and nights out at shows. The also became roommates and Dave held the title of Xena's favorite uncle. He is a gentle giant who has become family.

Katie is Maria’s soul sister and best friend, first meeting through a dating platform. They often say they had to date in order to truly find each other as lifelong friends. With shared values and constant encouragement, Katie and Maria continue to support and challenge one another in the best of ways.

Marissa and Legera met in undergrad and became roommates in Chicago when they were at DePaul University for their masters! Marissa is also Legera's best bachata, merengue, salsa dancing partner, ever!

Melissa is Maria’s Pisces sister and a creative soul who has remained one of her closest friends. They were introduced through The Greek Connection and shared a relationship before realizing they were even better as lifelong friends. Through the years, Melissa has been a loyal constant. Their bond shows up most in the art they create together and chasing down new adventures.

Legera and Caroline met while in undergrad but didn't know each other too well. By chance, both were moving up to NYC in 2016 to pursue music and chatted a bit about the possibility of living together. They took that chance and lived together for 3 years- ST NICK CREW 4LYFE!

Maria and Ari first met during the pandemic in an online vanlife chat room, and their friendship quickly took off. They began traveling together with yearly trips to Pensacola, where Ari helped Maria learn the ropes of road life. Today they remain travel partners who always manage to find each other no matter the distance.

Maria met Vicky at a UGA event, and what started as a chance meeting turned into the bromance they never knew they needed. From road trips and nights out to cocktails and gym sessions, they’ve built a friendship full of energy and adventure. Vicky brings a spark to every moment and has become one of Maria’s favorite partners-in-crime.
