After winning a trip on the RMS luxury cruise ship to America during a dockside card game, Jesse Legaspi spots the high society, socialite Nicole Bader, who is on her way to Philadelphia to marry a rich snob named Caledon Hockley. Nikki, as she’s known to her friends, feels helplessly trapped by her situation and makes her way to the aft deck and thinks of suicide until she is rescued by Jesse. This is where she asked him “to never let go”.
