There once was a girl named Caroline, who very much wanted to work in Silicon Valley. She is wickedly smart and ambitious, so naturally she secures an internship at a tech company in Santa Clara. The year was 2014. She is living in Montreal at the time, braving the winter cold and occasional street jumpings. Her excitement is electric. She can't wait to move to the one place she has always dreamed of living, California USA. She looks for a place to stay during her 6 month internship. She finds Le Chateau McMansion. “Ah oui sounds french”, she says to herself. It turns out to be a big house. With 14 people. And a pool. She fits right in. She is treated as royalty and is titled as the house’s original princess (the OP). Little did she know that this house would change her life forever. . .
Our princess’s 6 month stint goes by quickly. She says her tearful goodbyes to her fellow princesses and moves back to Europe. Then our prince arrives. He finds McMansion through a mutual friend. He moves in from East Bay to start a new project at Stanford University. He fits right in. He hears stories of this mythical time when the princesses were first formed and went on grand adventures together. (Evident by the many pictures that are still posted around the house to this day). Some of the people he holds at the highest regards keep mentioning the original princess, Princess Caroline. He hopes he gets to meet this OP one day. He does. She comes back to surprise the house on a business trip in San Francisco. Our Prince and Princess first meet in the kitchen, at the dishwasher (well, that's his side of the story). Having lived in the house for a number of months if anyone was messing with the dishwasher it was probably because it was broken. The prince accused the princess of breaking it. The princess thought the prince was a loser. And the rest is history!
